Mental health should not be defined by "whether we have mental illness", but rather by the ability to face life's challenges, realize ourselves, and connect with others. We believe that psychological distress is part of being human and does not prevent us from finding meaning and happiness in our lives.
We are dedicated to providing personalized mental health services
that integrate both online and offline elements,
opening up new possibilities for mental well-being.
We utilize artificial intelligence and big data analytics to accurately identify the content that best fits each individual, especially emerging adults and tertiary students in Hong Kong.
We encourage members to co-produce content with us and to foster a mental health-conducive community. Throughout your journeys of exploring self-care, we will be there to accompany you.
We aim to foster a community that enhances our collective well-being.
Includes clinical psychologists, trained psychological well-being officers, researchers, product designers, engineers, and communication specialists.

It is powered by artificial intelligence with items from PHQ-9 and GAD-7, which are two of the most commonly used and validated assessments for common symptoms of depression and anxiety, respectively.
Based on this assessment, our system suggests resources and services for you. It provides a reference, rather than a formal diagnosis of users’ mental health status. If further assistance is required, you may seek the services of a mental health professional, such as a psychiatrist or clinical psychologist, for a comprehensive evaluation.

Our content was developed based on psychological theories, research, and/or intervention approaches that have demonstrated to be effective in improving mental health and reducing anxiety and depressive symptoms.
However, our services cannot replace traditional face-to-face psychotherapy nor medication. Each mode of service has its own function and may be suitable for different people. By having a repertoire of diverse services available in the society, we believe that people can choose from these options to improve their mental health.

In 2017, The Chinese University of Hong Kong received a donation from the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust ("the Trust") for the Diversity and Well-being Laboratory to design and implement the Jockey Club TourHeart Project, which lasted for 3 years.
In 2021 and 2024 respectively, the Trust provided two donations to the team to enhance and revamp the project based on user feedback, resulting in the current Jockey Club TourHeart+ Project. We endeavor to offer a personalized, evidence-based online self-help platform supplemented by offline professional support.
