About
The Mindfulness-Based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT) is a 10-week course designed by Dr. Jean Kristeller, PhD. It aims to help participants integrate mindfulness into their daily eating habits, transforming their relationship with food, body, mind, and life. Scientific research has shown that this program provides significant benefits for individuals dealing with weight management, diabetes, and binge eating issues.
Many people lack awareness while eating, which often leads to overeating and weight problems. Others attempt to control their diet by suppressing appetite or following restrictive "special diets," but these approaches are difficult to sustain. Through mindfulness practices, this program guides participants to explore their eating patterns and discover both internal and external sources of wisdom about eating.
During the course, participants will learn to listen to their body's needs, recognize hunger and satiety cues, and understand the connection between emotions and physical sensations. They will develop the ability to respond skillfully rather than react unconsciously. Through practice, participants can effectively apply various healthy eating principles, choosing foods that truly nourish their body and mind based on their individual needs. This process fosters self-care and self-acceptance, enabling them to achieve better balance in both eating and life while establishing sustainable and personalized eating habits.
If you are interested in joining the 10-week course, you are required to first attend this information session.
