Tackling the Holiday Blues

Webinar

Target group:Members with mild to moderate level of emotional distress
Quota:30

About

The end of year is here again and with it comes the holiday season. For most people, festivals are about joyous celebrations and gatherings. However, if you find it tough to see families meeting up, couples in love, or feel stressed during these occasions, you are not alone. For a lot of us, the holiday season can be a period of pain, loneliness, sadness, stress and exhaustion.

This workshop, led by a clinical psychologist, will talk about the different emotions that we may be experiencing as the holiday season comes near. We will look at our holiday blues through a variety of concepts and skills, learn to live with our emotions and take better care of ourselves. Let’s treat ourselves kindly this holiday season and we might just be giving ourselves the best gift of all.

This event will be held in English.

In this couple of hours, participants will be guided to:

  • identify the stress signals related to loneliness
  • understand the vicious cycle of rumination and thinking traps
  • learn to appreciate and be kind to oneself
