Setting personal boundaries involve protecting our personal/ mental space. Do you find it difficult to say “no” or feel forced to compromise personal values to satisfy others? 

This workshop will guide you through myths and reasons behind having a difficult time saying ‘no’, and share tips on how to set healthier personal boundaries through being assertive. Let’s explore flexible and suitable ways to interact with others. 

Content

  • Get to know myths associated with ‘saying no’/expressing our needs 
  • Understand healthy boundaries and its significance 
  • Learn and practice being assertive through skills sharing 

Instructor profile

Ella Z. Tsang is a Clinical Psychologist who is also a Florist and a Japanese Preserved Floral Art Instructor. Ms. Tsang obtained her Bachelor of Arts in Criminology (Psychology) from the University of Hull and later obtained a Master of Art in Psychology and a Master of Social Sciences in Clinical Psychology from the Chinese University of Hong Kong. She joined StoryTaler in 2021 and aspires to promote mental health and reduce psychiatric stigma.
