Different research studies continue to show the benefits of continuous mindfulness practice, e.g., improve sleep quality, enhance focus and memory, relieve stress, depression, anxiety, and physical pain, etc.
Our TourHeart Mindfulness Group practices are facilitated by our clinical psychologist, who will lead us through different mindfulness exercises (including sitting meditation, mindful stretching etc). For members who have taken or are taking our online or offline mindfulness courses, these recurring group practices are an excellent way to consolidate your learning and maintain a practice habit. We also welcome those who practice mindfulness regularly to connect with each other through group practices; as well as anyone who is interested in understanding and trying out mindfulness.
The event will be held in Cantonese.
Amanda has been practicing mindfulness since 2014, and has completed teacher trainings at the Oxford Mindfulness Centre for Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (Level 1- 4), and the Mindfulness Center at Brown for Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (Level 1 Foundation Training), advanced teacher training of Mindful Parenting, and .b foundation. She is also a certified teacher of Mindfulness-based Eating Awareness Training (MB-EAT). Amanda is also active in research on mindfulness, including the development of ambassador programs and a local mindfulness mobile app called “newlife.330”.
Through mindfulness, Amanda is learning to live in the present moment with clarity and allow life to unfold naturally. Mindfulness guides her to see the interconnectedness between her and society, and to respond with love and wisdom.
